Hoang Anh Nguyen is a computer scientist with background in high-throughput and high performance computing. He works at UQ’s Research Computing Centre. His research interests revolve around scientific workflows and different ways for users to interact with these workflows.
Hoang has offered his expertise to create the scientific workflow that automates all data processing and visualisation steps required for the Threatened Species Index. As part of the process, he helped to optimise/finalise various databases and programming scripts needed to create a multitude of indices.
